What characterizes German culture is the planning and organization. They are known because they are people that like plans with anticipation and details, this is reflected in the professional and personal way. In the business way, they like punctuality in agendas, dates, and meetings because being late to any of these situations can be taken as an offense.
The labor life in Germany is one of the most strict in the world. They take importance to the worker's rest, that is the reason why most of the stores and supermarkets are closed on Sundays. Nowadays these rules have been disappearing, giving people the chance to choose their schedules.
In Germany the people are free to practice the religion that they want, 36% of the population identifies as no believer, 28% are catholic, 26% in evangelical Christianity, and 4.9% are Islamic.
Most German food is characterized by the use of meat, one of the representative foods is the Bratwurst which is considered a German national symbol and has 100 different types. Other important foods are the bretzels and the Flammkuchen. Fleischkäse and international desserts.
